š My attention is my love.⨠My magic is holding space.
Hello, Lovers of Life!
Have you ever felt deeply seen, heard, and understood? That unmistakable warmth when someone gives you their full attentionāitās love in its most profound, human form. Over the years, Iāve come to see that holding space for someone, listening to them with presence, and receiving their stories is not just an act of kindness but a powerful expression of love itself.

Love as Attention and Holding Space
To give someone your attention is to love them. Itās a way of opening yourself to another personās world, letting them unfold in your presence and writhin your own universe. For me, this is how Iāve learned to love and how Iāve felt most loved in return.
As a child, I loved my father by listening to him. I offered him my attention, my quiet receptivity, and that was my gift of love. In the same way, I feel loved when someone holds space for meāwhen they truly receive me without judgment, just as I am.

This mutual giving and receiving of attention is the heartbeat of love, a sacred exchange that transforms the mundane into something magical.
Intentional Attention
A more intentional way to express ānot caring about somethingā is to frame it as choosing not to give it your love. Love, in this sense, is your attention and energyāthe most profound gifts you can offer. To give something your love means directing your focus toward it, investing your care and presence. By withholding your love, you arenāt being indifferentāyou are making a deliberate choice to reserve your attention for what truly matters or aligns with you in the moment. This conscious decision to give or hold love reflects the power and responsibility of directing your attention with intention.
The Open Hearted Magic of Holding Space
My ability to hold space, create comfort, and invite others to open up is part of my feminine energyāa strength that thrives on warmth, surrender, and nurturing connection. Itās expressed in the way I create inviting spaces: a shared meal, soft music, cozy surroundings, and the gentle intention to make others feel safe and seen.

This is my magic, a yin force that doesnāt seek to dominate but to embrace. Itās in the way I listen deeply and love wholeheartedly, not by controlling but by receiving others with openness.
Loving Myself Through Attention
Iāve realized that the way I hold space for others is also how I love myself. When I sit quietly, lost in thought, or daydream about the beauty I see in the world, Iām holding space for my own inspiration.
This practice of listening to myself, validating my own thoughts, and finding joy in my inner world is a form of self-love. Itās comforting and nurturing, like parenting my inner child.

And yet, Iāve noticed a fear that arises sometimesāa fear of being ānot interesting,ā of not being lovable if I donāt have something remarkable to share.
But hereās the truth: my worth isnāt tied to being interesting or entertaining. The love I give to myself by simply listening and being present is enough.
The Power of Shared Awe
Awe, Iāve found, is a kind of love too. Itās a moment when life feels so vast, beautiful, and mysterious that it takes our breath away. When we share these moments of awe with others, we weave a tapestry of connectionāa shared reminder that life is full of magic.
This is why I created the idea of the āWow Journal.ā Itās a space to collect the moments that leave us inspired: a stunning sunset, a poignant conversation, or a quiet realization that shifts our perspective. By sharing these wows with one another, we create a collective fire of inspiration and meaning.
